Managing emotions is the ability to understand one’s own emotions, manage them appropriately and behave in a positive manner. Depending on the type of emotion, it’s natural to feel happy, sad, angry or shy etc. Different emotions direct us towards different behaviour. Hence it’s necessary to learn how to manage these varied emotion and behave in a acceptable way.
• Help them identify emotions of animation or movie characters
• When you see your child exhibiting extreme happiness or dullness, get into a dialogue to understand the reason and help them behave in a normal way.
