A 10 month old baby sleeps for the same hours as a 9 month old. They shall sleep for 14 hours a day, though sleeping for 12 to 16 hours is considered on the standard scale. They continue to nap twice daily, ranging from one to two hours.

By the 10th month, the babies might also have separation anxiety. They begin to understand the environment around them. This is the time when they may start to feel uncomfortable or scared when you are not around them. They can sense your absence even in their sleep.
